Obtaining entry to news today is not difficult, the internet and the integration of social media with important global events has made it almost impossible to live under a rock.
But finding a reliable source with a pause to engage with the news can be somewhat of a challenge.
Not only for accessing the news, but in a world like today’s where technology is widespread in our lives, various social media apps, among other things, help us entertain, interact, communicate with each other, and many others.
In the latest TAR survey, Albanians were asked which apps they use the most and the answers were as follows:
Instagram 57%
YouTube 19%
TikTok 14%
Web browser 8%
Mail & Calendar 3%
It seems that posting beautiful photos and videos, and everything that Instagram offers is at the center of users’ attention in Albania today, while watching various videos on YouTube also occupies a considerable part of their day. TikTok, quite similar to YouTube, is very close in third place, while any information on the web is in the penultimate place. Mail & Calendar seems to be less used by Albanians as it only occupies 3% of their usage./Top Albania Radio
